The all-new compound and pattern design work in conjunction to provide reassuring wet performance. Heat Control Technology (HCT) combines a long-lasting compound with a heat generating and performance-enhancing base layer for maximum durability as well as increased outright grip.

The front tyre section shape have been optimised using Dunlop’s Dynamic Front Formula (DFF) design approach. This provides the ideal balance between steering, stability and feedback.

All our radial street tyres are designed using a combination of Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as well as JointLess Belt (JLB) construction (either front or rear). JLB construction eliminates the belt overlaps resulting in smoother handling and a more stable contact patch with the road.

Tread design

Heidenau took the opportunity at the inception of the Scout, to tailor the design to best suit the application. Incorporating feedback from customers and countless miles of testing, this resulted in tires looking different for the different bikes, but insuring the best performance.

Fitment

Found in most common Enduro sizes for most manufactures as either a K60 or a K60 Scout. Every Scout is a K60, Not every K60 is a scout. If your rim requires an inner tube, a quality inner tube can be safely used with any K60 Scout.
